TRDC - Ashakiran

TRDC-ASHAKIRAN focusing child education and child rights propagation in the rural areas of Haveri District. TRDC- ASHAKIRAN project aims to support out of school children and children with learning difficulties, school administrators and communities ensuring child rights and promoting access to quality education to disadvantaged children. The project complements Universal primary Education of millennium development goals of United Nations. We are seeking funds to promote child centered, joyful, activity based, participatory and co-operative learning among school dropouts, children with learning difficulties and potential dropout children. TRDC is also seeking funds to build the capacities of school teachers on quality education, and administrators and communities and village leaders from self-help groups and farmers co-operatives societies on child rights, SDMC management and strengthening of schools in their village. Since year 2000, TRDC has mainstreamed more than 10000 school dropouts and working children with formal education system by partnering with various national and international organizations and corporate within India.
